The maps were easy to read and actually helped me a lot. I do wish everything else had been a bit smoother, but credit where it’s due, the maps did their job.

Some of the guides include these nice little details about neighborhoods, food, or local atmosphere that actually help you picture the place a bit better, which I really appreciate. That said, not every article feels equally strong. A few of them come across as a little rushed, or they stay so general that I don’t feel like I learned much beyond the basics. But overall, I still find the site helpful, enjoyable to browse, and definitely nicer to read than a lot of other travel websites. For the writing itself, I’d give it 4 stars

The coverage is solid overall, especially for bigger cities and the more popular travel routes... but yeah, some of the smaller towns or less touristy spots feel a little light on detail.
